We are based in Strathalbyn and are happy to travel to Wedding & Events. Our horses travel in a float or truck and the carriage travels in a trailer. We operate anywhere in South Australia, however a travel fee will apply in some circumstances.

We can travel up to 5kms. We usually do this at a walk, to avoid you having a sweaty horse for your wedding photos. We travel on public roads, but do not go on freeways or highways. We try to only travel on roads with speed limits under 80km/hr for the safety of the horses and passengers. We are also particular about hills or terrain, so we always assess potential routes before accepting any booking.

Each of our carriages fit a different number of people. Please check out our carriages page to find the one that best suits your needs and personal preference. Our horses also have different capabilities, and we have set passenger weight limits to suit the individual horse. We are happy to discuss your individual requirements.

Some venues or public spaces do require approval to have a horse drawn carriage or a horse on the premises.  Talk to the event coordinator at your venue and advise your wishes to have a horse drawn carriage or horse. We are happy to converse with the venue if required. Public spaces such as parks may also require a permit from the respective city department. We are happy to provide our certificate of currency insurance papers to the venue as required.

In the case of a severe weather warning being issued for storms/heavy rain for the day we will be in contact to work out alternative arrangements.

We can not attend if the forecast is for 37 degrees or over, due to horse welfare. A full refund will be made in this circumstance.
